1000 Air Leakage Testing System
With a .75
horsepower Model 1000 Fan, capable of up to 6300 CFM, the 1000 system is
more than capable of testing air leakage in both residential and small
commercial structures. The Model 1000 takes advantage of Retrotec's
proprietary speed control, which evens out the power distribution, and
reduces energy lost to heat and noise. It's also the most durable fan
around, and our brand new shell design includes a 10 year warranty.
Our
1000 system can be controlled and monitored via the Retrotec DM-2 Series
2 Channel Digital Pressure Gauge, or you can connect the DM-2 to a
computer, download our latest Windows software and conduct fully
automated door fan tests straight from your laptop.
Made from an all new exclusive shell design, the 1000 system is ready to
go, and extremely durable. The on-board speed control allows direct
manual control of fan speed, without the need to connect even a control
cable or tube. An optional speed control can be connect via Ethernet,
for control up to 300' away, or use the automatic control features of
the DM-2A. "Set-and-Forget" the control of enclosure and flow pressure;
as you seal the leaks in your enclosure and the leakage rate decreases,
the system automatically and instantly readjusts fan speed to maintain
the correct pressure.
