Q5E Door Fan System
With a sleek and professional appearance, the Q5E Automated Blower Door System boasts a powerful, 2 hp 3300-series door fan capable of up to 8100 CFM, as well as a lightweight, easy-to-install hard-panel frame which adjusts to fit a wide variety of door sizes. This system's stronger fan makes it suitable for air leakage tests in larger residential and commercial buildings.
Control and monitor the airflow via the Retrotec DM-2 Digital Pressure Gauge, or download the software to connect the DM-2 to your laptop for fully automatic airflow testing!
All Retrotec fans are made with extremely durable space-age hard plastic foam, which makes them both lightweight and and tough. They are also easily reversible: to switch from pressurizing to depressurizing your enclosure, simply flip the fan around in its panel.
The DM-2A that comes with this system offers an onboard "Set-and-Forget" control of enclosure pressure and flow pressure. All you need to do is choose your desired pressure, and then let the DM-2A do the rest. As you seal the leaks in your enclosure and the leakage rate decreases, the system automatically and instantly readjusts to the correct pressure.
