Q4E Door Fan System
Like
the Q46, the Q4E system comes with a highly portable and lightweight
cloth frame that is adaptable to a wide range of door sizes. However,
this system implements the stronger, 2 hp 3300 Series Calibrated Fan,
capable of up to 8100 CFM, making it applicable in tests of larger
residential and mid-sized commercial structures.
Control this
system directly via the DM-2 Series 2 Channel Digital Pressure Gauge,
or Download the Software to connect the DM-2 to your laptop and run your
test automatically.
All
Retrotec fans are made with extremely durable space-age hard plastic
foam, which makes them both lightweight and and tough. They are also
easily reversible: to switch from pressurizing to depressurizing your
enclosure, simply flip the fan around in its panel.
The DM-2A
that comes with this system offers an onboard "Set-and-Forget" control
of enclosure pressure and flow pressure. All you need to do is choose
your desired pressure, and then let the DM-2A do the rest. As you seal
the leaks in your enclosure and the leakage rate decreases, the system
automatically and instantly readjusts to the correct pressure.
